Thick Bacon, Tomatoes, Romaine Lettuce, and an Egg. On Italian style bread with Pepperjack cheese.
A BLT is really all about the ingredients. From the bread to the mayonnaise they all impact the dish in their own way. Now what makes this an "ultimate" BLT? The egg! The runny yoke can be a little messy, but it makes the dish "ultimate" for me. This recipe came from Youtube of all places. Watch it for yourself and see if you are tempted like I was.

Hello Bandy, so glad you have started your foodie blog as we have been drooling over your creations at your mums blog for ages. We are lucky that we live quite close to two of Thomas Keller's best restaurants, can't afford the French Laundry :-( but Bouchon is amazing and both cookbooks are droolworthy. The Croque Madame sandwich is so delicious. Your special BLT looks delicious too. I am gonna have to make this for my lunch tomorrow. I know your blog is going to be a huge hit. Kathy.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for welcoming me onto the blog arena :)

Greetings Tyler~ ~
ReplyDeleteIt's great to have you join us. I'm looking forward to visiting your blog often. I love to cook and have never been professionally trained or so much as taken a cooking class. I subscribed to Bon Appetit in 9th grade and never looked back. Kept every single issue filed for many years. Couldn't bring myself to tear a recipe out. They became my cooking bible. Now with the internet things are so different. Anyway, looking forward to some great recipes.

I agree that handwriting can say a great deal about a person. I think that men whose handwriting in incomprehensible care only about themselves and do not value others' opinions.
ReplyDeleteThe beauty of this Ultimate BLT website online is amazed. I like your blog.
